Cosy is the word to describe our house: it is not huge (somewhere around 60 square meters), but comfortable and with all necessary amenities. Downstairs, we have an open kitchen, the living room and dining table, as well as the fireplace (very nice throughout the year: in the summer, it is usually nice and warm during the days, but cooler in the evening, enough to make it worthwhile to have a fire in the fireplace). Upstairs, two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with a queen bed and a smaller bed if you are travelling with a child. The bigger bedroom has a small balcony where you can always have morning coffee and look at the barn in the distance (unless you do that in the terrace outback, with a view to the fields). Other thing to note: Payment Terms: when making the reservation $750 down payment y credit card or Zelle is required to secure the booking. If card is selected, there is a 4% processing fee added. The remaining balance for the f rent & fees is due at check in by Zelle or Bank Transfers. If reservation extended after booking made to a period of 60 days or more for longer period, you may pay directly to host by monthly installments via Bank Transfer only. To ensure a smooth check-in process, please coordinate your arrival time in advance, at least 72 hours prior to check-in. For last-minute bookings, please provide advance notice of a few hours. Please be aware that a late check-in fee of $100 will be charged for arrivals after 8 PM, and a fee of $200 will be charged for arrivals after midnight. While access to the mailbox is not guaranteed, you can receive packages without any issue. Please note that the furniture and decoration in the apartment may vary from the photos listed online. We periodically update and refresh the furniture and decor, so there might be a small discrepancy between the online photos and the actual look of the apartment. Rest assured, the apartment will be well-appointed and comfortable for your stay. If you require additional cleaning during your stay, please don't hesitate to contact us. We can arrange it for an additional fee. Check-out time is by 11 AM. Before you check out, please empty the refrigerator and throw away all trash. Montaudin is a peaceful hamlet located at the intersection of three regions of France: Brittany, Normandy and Pays de la Loire. This means that many of the tourist attractions in these regions are readily available for a day trip: from the closest (Mont St. Michel is about 60 km away) to those further away (the castles of the Loire valley are 2.5-3 hours drive, quicker if one takes a toll road). The beach is also close, maybe 65 km away, and many of the beaches have a view of Mont St. Michel, making them the more special. There are a lot of character towns and villages to discover, including some larger ones such as Laval and Fougeres (hosting the largest medieval castle in Europe), but also smaller ones such as Vitre or Ambrees les Vallees.
